Streamer
Retro Creator turns real game data — score, lives, bosses, records — into overlays and live automations. Full product documentation: Retro Creator wiki.
Getting started
- Install Retro Creator on your Windows streaming PC (free Lite edition to try) — it detects APIExpose (RetroBat) automatically, or runs in demo mode.
- Compose your overlay in the designer: score, timer, now playing, achievement popup widgets… bound to live data.
- Add the overlay to your streaming software as a browser source. Play: everything updates live.
Live Contest: your viewers play at home (Studio edition)
- Create the contest: game, objective (race, best score, time attack, survival) — the editor only offers signals that really exist in the game.
- Test round first: every participant validates their signals before opening — the dashboard shows who is ready. Never skip this step before a public contest.
- Open: viewers type your !command, the bot replies with a personal short link, their game launches at home and pauses on the starting line.
- Synchronized start: in-game 5-4-3-2-1 countdown, live standings, CSV export + JSON feed to show the podium in your overlays.
Venue tournaments on stream
If you also host tournaments in a venue equipped with the Fleet Hub, the venue's tournament screen is a web page — add it to your scene like any browser source. See the organizer guide.
